Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Agriculture Production Planner to join their client's dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring efficient production planning and scheduling within the agricultural sector. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage various responsibilities and contribute to the smooth operation of production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing production schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  • Monitoring production processes and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of production activities and reporting on progress.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Assisting with inventory management and forecasting to align with production needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the production environment.

Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, the person will need to have horticultural knowledge and experience with crop cycles grown in greenhouses.
  • Previous experience in production planning or a related field within the agriculture sector.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm
